Music industry Christmas event.

Christmas and new year eve are here. That time of the year that everybody take advantage of to celebrate until they lose all senses. I’m not that bad though and my faith doesn’t believe in Christmas celebrations. However, I was invited to an event from a music industry party so I decided to go and bring my friend and stylist, Jessica.

The night went well. We had a good time. The party was all free drinks so we took advantage of that ๐Ÿ˜‰ the music was good and the food was awesome.

Check the pictures below and to those who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Christmas fashion show by the British Red Cross.

We all know what the British Red Cross is about. They have been one of the many organisations who try their best to help those in need all over the world.

The fashion show was help in effort to raise money for the causes that British Red Cross are involved in. The clothes worn by the models that evening were for sale and all the funds were then given to help those in need.

Designers included Linda Bennett, Daniel Blake, Valerie Corona, Orla Kiely, Kelly Simpkin, Paul Slade, the most anticipated woman of the night Amanda Wakeley and Judy Wu.

The event took good care of everybody who attended and the location was well chosen. The show was a success and the people in attendance were amazing and polite. Thank you for having me and my beautiful friend and stylist Jessica Nanteza.

Jessica and I had a brilliant time at the show so we decided to do a little after party of our own. We always have great times together and discuss things that matters to one another. It is hard to meet people that connects with you on a genuine level so when you find them, keep them.

We added more fun, alcohol and laughter to our evening. Everything was just perfect. Look at the pictures below and come back to my website soon!

With love always,

Redcross Fashion Show ’15.

As you all know by now, the world is in such shape that its got everybody wondering when is the end coming.

We all know about this organisation, what they do and what they stand for. This year, redcross’ fashion show was to raise money through auctions and donations to help with recent events in Nepal. Below is a statement from the firm:

A second earthquake has devastated Nepal. Families are homeless and terrified. Two weeks ago they lost everything. ย This morning, they fled in fear as the ground shook beneath their feet once again.

We donโ€™t yet know the extent of the damage. But we do know this will bring more death and destruction.ย Red Cross hospitals are already treating patients. But we need your help.

You can help. Please donate now.
The Nepal Earthquake Appeal will support communities currently affected and those potentially affected in the future by this crisis. In the unlikely event that we raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent, any surplus funds will be used to help us prepare for and respond to other humanitarian disasters anywhere in the world. -Redcross.

They put together these beautiful fashion shows every year to help tragedies happening all over the world and I feel honoured I’ve had the chance to take part in this one, this year!

BBC’s Children in need.

Dear strong ones,

I hope that you all are blessed and well. I am writing to you today to share that I attended the children in need show and I wanted to express the way I feel about it. Of course, pictures shall follow ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am a sucker for knowledge in my field which is entertainment and I always raise my hand when an opportunity rises up for me to learn!!
I love behind the scenes work. I love directing, staging, producing and of course performing. Many may argue that although I have opportunities to do many things, I should focus on the singing. Well, I do handle my duties as an artist. I work hard as a director. I am a successful student also. Do not worry.

Today was good because I’ve been inspired to plan my stage presence. I am close to establishing what I want Tambu to look like on stage. My way I want people to know me for as a performer. I can’t wait to put that into full effect when I do my first television show. Now check the pictures and enjoy ๐Ÿ˜›

Thank you guys for passing by as usual ๐Ÿ˜‰ Tam.

Mobo Awards 2014 in SSE Wembley.

Hey Strong Ones,

You all have seen me rise in so many levels and it gets better with time!! I am very happy to tell you all that I was a part of this year’s Mobo Awards which took place in Wembley.

I took my family with me as usual and we had an amazing executive suite at the Hilton’s Hotel. Thanks to the hilton and the mobos for making it happen. My husband and children settled in fine!! My daughters were so excited to get there they started packing their own suitcases!! We had an amazing time!! Big shout out to the Hilton Hotel in Wembley ๐Ÿ˜‰

At that point, it was time for me to get ready for the show!! I pre-selected a few outfits I wanted to wear and then went with the flow. I’m happy with the final look and I’m thankful to everybody online who.commented during that night!!

The show started at 5.30pm for VIPs we have a red carpet moment followed by a reception among other things. It was a good opportunity to network and get to know the other people there. I’ve met beautiful people both established and up and coming and of course I was here for the drrriinnkkkss!!

The show was brilliant so many act that I was blown away by. They all sang and rap live. They were all so much better live than on radio!! I felt inspired and so grateful to be a part of it!! I’m truly thankful. But, it didn’t stop here!!!

The after party was also good. I didn’t stay until the end because I was starving and as my husband and children were staying with me at the hotel it was very convenient to come and go out of the party as it took place at the hilton’s ballroom. Again, I pictured the madness ๐Ÿ˜‰

All this fun had to come to an end eventually so we returned home. I had an amazing time and my family and I enjoyed every single bit of it!! It is not over though as we have many more event to go to!!

I will finished this post by showing you my little girl!! Once we returned, the fireworks were all up the sky so we took a minute to look at them. She is at that age where everything is amazing and it’s so adorable to see!!

Thank you all so much for your daily views!! I’m so thankful for you all!! Make sure you follow us on instagram at @danielstrongent

An evening with Vogue & Longchamp to celebrate “Le Pliage” bag.

INVITATION: Le Pliage is 20 years old this year! Longchamp and Vogue have the pleasure of inviting you to celebrate the birthday of this iconic bag. During the party there will be a photoshoot in which you can pose with your favourite bag. See the results at

Now!!! Let me tell you!! This must have been the best night of my entire life!! Not only because I was in an exclusive celebration but because I was out with my stylist Jessica. She is into fashion and she was the person invited. She was allowed to bring a guest and she brought me along. Together, we laughed and caught up on the things we’ve been through lately and drank a whole lot!!

The event had a prize draw and dear lord… THESE BAGS ARE AMAZING!! I didn’t really know about Longchamp like that to be honest but I was very surprised of the fashion they’ve displayed. I wanted at least 4 bags from them!! My stylist bought a couple ๐Ÿ˜‰

The customer service was beyond great. We’ve got to talk to beautiful ladies so overall the night was just amazing on so many levels.

I will proceed by showing you guys the pictures and we shall catch up soon. To see my life in pictures follow me on instagram @TambuChristel ๐Ÿ™‚

MOBO Awards – October 19th 2013

I am writing this post today since I am in the mood to update my website with what’s going on in my life. This particular post is about the MOBOs last year.

I was heavily pregnant so I couldn’t go in the end but the reason why this was special to me is because I felt like the beginning of my “validation” was happening. I have been doing what I do for a minute now and it often feels like you work so much but nobody sees you. It isn’t about getting credits from other people but you actually want people to acknowledge your work, contribution, existence in the game no matter how big or small.

I have worked more in the US than the UK in terms of being connected to established public figures and it is somehow easier to make it in America even though it is in fact a bigger country so every time i do anything in England I kind of have that thing where I say to myself “Just do what you’ve gotta do and get the knowledge and qualifications you need. The rest will follow.” So when opportunities such as attending a person’s show or being invited to such organisation in the UK happens it just shows me that my work speaks for itself at the end of the day and people see my vision through the things I do and display and it feel very good.

All this to say that even though i couldn’t make it last year due to my pregnancy I am honored I even had the opportunity to. On that note, i see you this year! Thank you MOBOs!!

BET Awards 2010

At the time this event was the most important for me so far. It turned my whole life and vision around. I decided to do a record label about a year prior which also turned into a management company all this because my son past away and I didn’t feel like living anymore therefore found something to focus all my energy into. However, never in a million years I would have thought that I would be sitting here about a year later with great opportunities such as attending amazing shows and meeting amazing people! I mean this was/is beyond me!! You know, when you dream of something and really want it to happen but kind of keep it might it might never actually happen? Well, for me it is now my job and life.

I got introduced to my make up artist to be Eliane at that time who is the person who took this picture shown below, she also does Lola Monroe aka Angel lola luv’s make up. Atย the time of that award show, my Strong Ones’ team got even bigger too! I mean I was only just 23 years old but I felt like I accomplished so much on my own then already.

Now I know I can only go up from now on and I am looking forward to the rest of my journey!
